Ruth Ward Quilts

One of Pittsburgh’s iconic master quilters, Ward has spent a lifetime perfecting her craft and has been making, exhibiting, and selling quilts in the region for decades. Most of the quilts tell a story, but she is also adept at creating abstract work and presenting thought-provoking pieces based on African and African American culture.
